Christian Burial

Burial of the Dead within the church is a sacred act by which the soul of the deceased person is commended to God's everlasting mercy, and the body of the deceased is committed to a place of earthly repose -- all while looking to the hope of the resurrection from the dead that is central to the Christian faith.
