Men’s Bible Study:  St. Peter's will be offering a Men's Bible Study starting on Thursday, September 16th.  The group will meet from 7:30 to 8:30AM in the Pumpelly Room.  This will be an opportunity for fellowship and prayer, in addition to a study of the Gospel of Luke. Episcopalian Refresher:  An Episcopalian refresher course we will be offered each Sunday following the 10:30AM service, meeting at St. Mark’s Chapel.  Confirmation instruction tends to fade over time and the “refresher course” will be a brief 10 minutes or so covering topics such as the Prayer Book, the Catechism, Sacraments, and Episcopal polity.  These “brief refreshers” will build on one another and be starters for your own study and will also allow folks to get to coffee hour with plenty of time to connect with fellow parishioners.

 

Group Bible Study:  Please join Fr. Hartt and Mother Sue as they co-lead a Bible study on two books of the New Testament: St. Paul’s Letter to the Colossians and St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians.  Our group will meet Wednesday evenings, beginning at 5:30pm, and each week we will study approximately two chapters.  Light refreshments will be provided and individuals are welcomed to supplement this with a sandwich if desired.  Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.  We will meet over several weeks, concluding the Bible study before the onset of Advent. 

 

Women’s Book Group: Women of the parish, please join Mother Sue as we delve into Beth Moore’s Jesus, the One and Only this fall!  Our first gathering will be Monday, September 20, 2010.  We will begin at 6:00pm and meet for approximately 1.5 hours.
