Coffee Hour:  Please join us for coffee hour after the 8:30AM and 10:30AM Services.  All are welcome.
Newcomers:  If you are interested in receiving more information about St. Peter’s Church please feel free to call the church office or fill out an information card that is located in your pew.  If you would like to be added to the church directory please call the church office. 
Pledge Cards:  Thank you to all those who faithfully and continually support the financial needs of the church.  Remember, it is never too late to fill out a pledge card.  Pledges may also be made by phone.    
Backpacks & Supplies for Back-to-School:  Every year the Sunday School collects backpacks (new or lightly used) and back-to-school supplies to be donated to the children at Grace and Holy Innocents.  From now until registration Sunday, (which is next Sunday, September 12th) please pick up an extra backpack, notebook, pack of pens or pencils, loose leaf paper, or markers and place the items in the bushel baskets located in the Pumpelly Room or in the Sunday School rooms.  Thank you for your support, your donations are greatly appreciated.
9/11 Memorial Prayer Service:  Join us at Noon on Saturday, September 11th for Noonday Prayer with commemoration for those lives lost during the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01.
Parish Picnic:  The annual parish picnic will be held at The Rectory, 8 Loudon Heights South, on Sunday, September 19th following the 10:30AM service.  Chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages will be provided.  Please bring a dish to pass for the meal or a dessert.  A free will offering will be taken with a suggested donation of $10.00 per family. 
Partners in Outreach:  A consortium of individuals from all of the Albany Episcopal Congregations will meet at St. Peter’s Church on Saturday, September 25th beginning at 9:00am to plan united efforts in Outreach and Mission through the City of Albany.  If you are interested, please feel free to join us, or call Judy Burns for information.
Confirmation Classes:  Confirmation classes for the youth, 13 years of age or older, will begin on Sunday, September 26, 2010 following the 10:30AM service. They will be co-led by Fr. Hartt and Mother Sue and will occur throughout the fall and early winter months (a detailed schedule will be provided at the first meeting), with a spring confirmation planned.  Please contact the church office to inquire for yourself, or for your son or daughter about Confirmation class.  Please contact Fr. Hartt or Mother Sue with any questions.
Healing Prayer and Anointing:  The offering of Healing Prayer with Anointing will take place the last Sunday of every month, following services, at the Main Altar. If any member of the parish wishes to receive anointing for healing at another time, please speak with Mtr. Sue or Fr. Hartt.
Annual Women’s Dinner:  The Women of St. Peters will host the Annual Dinner at 6pm on Tuesday,  October 26th at 74 State Hotel, Albany.  Dinner will feature a hot buffet.  Please remit your check in the amount of $30 payable to the ‘Women of St. Peters’ and give to either Kim Healy or Julie Murphy.
